KECT-12-L. The KECT-12-L kettle has a capacity of 12 gallons (45 liters). steam jacket type: 2/3 steam jacket around the lower 2/3 of the kettle. The Southbend KECT-6-L, KECT-10-L, and KECT-12-L kettles are electric. KECT-12-L kettles each have a phase 1 electrical rating at 240 V. The KECT-12-L kettle has rated input power of 12.0 kW at phase 1. The Southbend KECT-6-L, KECT-10-L and KECT-12-L kettles have solid-state temperature control. The controls are water resistant, integrally mounted, and include a power switch, solid state thermostat, pilot light, vacuum/pressure gauge, safety valve, and low water shut off with low water light for each kettle. The interior cooking surface of the Southbend KECT-6-L, KECT-10-L and KECT-12-L kettles is type 316 stainless steel. The Southbend KECT-6-L, KECT-10-L, and KECT-12-L kettles have a tilting configuration. Standard features include a “Clean lock” to hold the kettle in cooking position or at 105° for ease of cleaning, a stainless steel console and trunnion, and a faucet bracket. The Southbend KECT-6-L, KECT-10-L and KECT-12-L kettles are NSF certified.
