SCX-2S-6. The Southbend steamer unit is specified as c-CSA-us certified. SCX-2S … have two compartments. The SCX-2S-6 with two 6-gallon kettles has a 1-pan compartment capacity for 6-inch-deep pans. Each kettle configured with the SCX-2S-6 steamer has a capacity of 6 gallons. The steam-coil-heated steam boiler operates at 9–11 psi (62–76 kPa). The boiler is equipped for incoming steam pressure of 25–45 psi (170–310 kPa). The boiler controls include operating pressure control. The timing of each steamer compartment is independently controlled. The steamer shall be constructed of satin finish stainless steel, type 304, with a cooking chamber of one-piece, all-welded, type 316 stainless steel. Steam flow to a steamer chamber is cut off while its door is open during the cooking cycle.
