Double door upright ice storage bins have dual access doors. The Follett SG3900-72 ice storage bin has a maximum bin capacity of 3940 lb (1787 kg). The ice storage bin is specified with a welded steel shell and frame. Its exterior finish is stainless steel on the front, sides, back and bottom. The liner has non-corroding polyethylene walls and a stainless steel bottom. Non-HFC foam insulation is bonded to the shell and liner for added structural strength. The lower door assembly includes a non-corroding polyethylene ice-door access assembly, a polyethylene lift door with a PowerHinge door hinge to eliminate gaskets and latches, and an inner SmartGATE ice shield. The shield is described as controlling ice flow into the ice-door access assembly area and reducing spillage. The entire lower door assembly is easily removable for installation through narrow doors. The SmartGATE® ice shield locks in three positions and returns easily to the full down position, even when the bin is full. The bins are compatible with cube ice, flake ice and customer preferred Chewblet® ice. The bins are for indoor use only. The drain connection on the Follett double-door upright ice storage bins is 1.00 in FPT. The Follett SG3900-72 ice storage bin depth (D1) is 48.00 in (121.9 cm). The Follett SG3900-72 ice storage bin width (W1) is 72.00 in (182.9 cm).
