KELT-40. KELT-40 … kettle models have a tilting-kettle configuration. KELT-40 kettles have 18 kW available as standard. The Southbend KELT kettle is specified for 208 VAC, 1 phase, 50/60 Hz operation for 12 to 18 kW only. The KELT-SB 18 kW, 1-phase electrical configuration draws 86.5 amps per line at 208 V. The controls are integrally mounted and include a power switch, thermostat, pilot light, low water light, vacuum/pressure gauge, safety relief valve, and low water shut off. The Southbend KELT kettle's steam jacket surrounds the lower two-thirds of the kettle. The Southbend KELT kettle's interior liner is stainless steel type 316. The kettle is constructed with all-welded #4-finish stainless steel, type 304. KELT-40 … kettle models tilt through a full 90°.
