KDLT-20F. Direct Steam. The KDLT-20F kettle has a rated capacity of 20 gallons (76 liters). The Southbend kettle's direct steam operation is specified at a minimum of 5 PSI (34 kPa) and a maximum of 30 PSI (207 kPa). steam jacket type: full jacketed. The Southbend kettle liner is standard 316 stainless steel for high-acid-content cooking. Construction is all-welded stainless steel with a #4 finish, type 304. The Southbend KDLT direct-steam kettle has a tilting configuration. The Southbend KDLT direct-steam kettle's forward tilt is for complete emptying. The tilting mechanism is self-locking for positive stop action. The KDLT-F-SB kettle has a 1/2 in (13 mm) IPS condensate return connection. The KDLT-F-SB kettle has a 3/4 in (19 mm) IPS steam supply connection.
