KELT-80 … tilting-kettle configuration. The KELT-80 kettle has a capacity of 80 gallons (303 liters). The Southbend KELT kettle is specified for 220 VAC, 3 phase, 50/60 Hz operation. input kw: 24. The kettle is constructed with all-welded #4-finish stainless steel, type 304. The Southbend KELT kettle's interior liner is stainless steel type 316. The Southbend KELT kettle's steam jacket surrounds the lower two-thirds of the kettle. The kettle is self-generating; its jacket enclosure contains distilled water and is factory sealed. The controls are integrally mounted and include a power switch, thermostat, pilot light, low water light, vacuum/pressure gauge, safety relief valve, and low water shut off. The Southbend KELT kettle has a maximum pressure of 50 psi. The tilt mechanism has self-locking positive-stop action.
