Southbend Steam … ECX-10S … models are convection steamers. ECX-10S_42KW_220V_3PH. ECX-10S … models have an electric steam boiler base. The electric steam boiler operates at 9–11 psi (62–76 kPa). A steamer with a 42-kW boiler draws 110.2 amps per line at 220 V, 3 phase. The steam boiler is specified for a supply frequency of 60 Hz. The steamer's electrical connection is field wiring, as specified on the data plate. Each steamer compartment's timer has a 60-minute duration. Each steamer compartment's timer is mechanical. The unit comes standard with a water treatment system, split water line, CSD-1 boiler controls and automatic blowdown. The steamer shall be constructed of #4 finish stainless steel type 304, with a cooking chamber of one-piece, all welded, 316 stainless steel.
