The Southbend Steam OB-3-2-40-E-SB is a tilting oyster cooker. The Southbend Steam OB-3-2-40-E-SB consists of three oyster cookers. The OB-SB cooker has a 42 kW configuration rated at 3 phases. Each kettle in the OB-SB cooker 42 kW configuration has a listed capacity of 2 x 4 liters. The unit is standard with automatic boiler blowdown and CSD-1 boiler controls. Oyster cookers shall be constructed of type 316 stainless steel inner and outer shell with a #4 finish, one piece welded construction. Each cooker shall be equipped with a tilt handle and heat resistant knob, allowing the cooker to be tilted forward 90° for complete emptying. The OB-SB cooker's cold-water connection uses 3/8 in O.D. tubing. The OB-SB cooker’s electrical connection method is field wiring.
