Model 170 is a single-deck infrared broiler. The infrared broiler burners are rated at 104,000 BTU per deck. The Model 170 broiler requires 104,000 BTU/hr with natural gas. The broiler grids are removable and have a round pattern for branding. The broiler grid has five height positions. The front 3 inches of the Southbend infrared broiler roll-out grid can be used as a holding area. The broiler burners have separate controls.
