The cooker is a pressure and pressureless compartment cooker with a gas steam boiler. GDA-2S_NG. Each GDA-2S steamer has 2 compartments. The GDA-2S steamer has a capacity of 8–16 pans. The Southbend GDA-2S and GDA-3S lower compartment operates as a pressure cooker only. The gas boiler is available for operation on natural gas. The gas steam boiler is rated at 250,000 BTU. The Southbend GDA-2S and GDA-3S gas steam cookers have gas steam boilers operating at 9–11 psi (62–76 kPa). Each compartment's independent automatic timer controls have visual and audible signals. The cooker is constructed of all-welded satin-finish type 304 stainless steel. The Southbend GDA-2S and GDA-3S cooker controls are specified for a supply voltage of 115 VAC. The Southbend GDA-2S and GDA-3S cooker controls are specified for single-phase supply.
