The Southbend KELS-20, KELS-25, KELS-30, KELS-40, KELS-60, KELS-80, and KELS-100 tri-leg kettle is mounted on legs. The KELS-60 kettle has a capacity of 60 gallons (227 liters). The Southbend KELS-20, KELS-25, KELS-30, KELS-40, KELS-60, KELS-80, and KELS-100 kettle operates electrically. The KELS-40, KELS-60 and KELS-80 optional 24-kW three-phase configuration draws 57.7 A per line at 240 V. The Southbend KELS-20, KELS-25, KELS-30, KELS-40, KELS-60, KELS-80, and KELS-100 kettle uses a self-generating closed steam system. The steam jacket of the Southbend KELS-20 through KELS-100 steam kettle surrounds the lower two-thirds of the kettle. The controls are integrally mounted and include a power switch, thermostat, pilot light, low water light, vacuum/pressure gauge, safety relief valve, and low water shut off. The KELS-SB kettle's interior liner has a 316 stainless steel material grade. Construction is all welded #4 finish stainless steel, type 304.
