The Blodgett 981 is a gas deck oven. base section (oven only). Each Blodgett 981 oven has two cooking compartments. Each cooking compartment of the model 981 deck oven, per section, is 7 inches high. The 981 deck oven has a maximum gas input of 50,000 BTU/hr per oven section. The 981 deck oven is available for propane, requiring 11.0 inches W.C. minimum to 13.0 inches W.C. maximum inlet pressure. The Blodgett 981 oven uses a liquid pressure thermostat. The 981 deck oven's liquid-pressure thermostat has a temperature range of 200°F to 500°F. The oven has a full angle iron frame, stainless steel front, top, sides and back, counterbalanced doors with concealed hinges, and a heavy chrome plated tubular steel door handle.
