The Southbend KEPS-F steam kettle uses electric power. 33 kW, 3-phase, 220 V electrical configuration draws 86.6 amps per line. The controls include a power switch, thermostat, pilot light, low-water light, vacuum/pressure gauge, safety relief valve, and low-water shutoff. Construction is all-welded #4-finish type 304 stainless steel. The interior liner is standard with 316 stainless steel for high-acid-content cooking. The Southbend KEPS-F kettle is NSF certified.
