BELM-30. The BELM-30 tilt skillet has a 30-gallon capacity (114 liters). The Southbend BELM-30 and BELM-40 tilting skillets are electrically heated. The Southbend BELM-30 and BELM-40 electric tilting skillets are specified to operate on 208 VAC, 3 phase, 50/60 Hz. The BELM-30 tilt skillet draws 33.3 A per line at 208 V, 3 phase. rated electrical input of 12 kW. The thermostatic controls on the Southbend BELM-30 and BELM-40 skillets have a lowest setting of 160°F (71°C). The thermostatic controls on the Southbend BELM-30 and BELM-40 skillets have a highest setting of 445°F (229°C). The Southbend BELM-30 and BELM-40 skillets use thermostat controls with an OFF position. The pan is formed from 10 gauge 304 stainless steel with a #4 finish exterior and polished interior with coved corners for easy cleaning. The Southbend BELM-30 and BELM-40 electrically heated skillets have manual tilt. The control enclosure is designed to meet NEMA-2 and provide protection against dripping and light splashing; the skillet also has a thermostat indicator light, a pan tilt switch that shuts elements off if tilted more than 5°, and a high-temperature cut-off set at 536°F (280°C).
