The cooker is a pressure and pressureless compartment cooker with a gas steam boiler. Each GDA-2S steamer has 2 compartments. The GDA-2S steamer has a capacity of 8–16 pans. The GDA-2S or GDA-3S steamer is listed at 250,000 BTU/hour. gas type: propane. The Southbend GDA-2S and GDA-3S upper compartment can be selected by the operator to operate in pressure-cooking mode. The Southbend GDA-2S and GDA-3S upper compartment can be selected by the operator to operate as a pressureless, free-venting cooker. The Southbend GDA-2S and GDA-3S lower compartment operates as a pressure cooker only. Each cooking compartment of the Southbend GDA-2S and GDA-3S has timer controls that operate independently of the other compartment's timer controls. The cooker is constructed of all-welded satin-finish type 304 stainless steel. The Southbend GDA-2S and GDA-3S cooker controls are specified for a supply voltage of 115 VAC. The Southbend GDA-2S and GDA-3S cooker controls are specified for single-phase supply.
