The Southbend Platinum Series half-size electric convection oven is a double-deck assembly. The illustrated PCHE15 stack contains two separate ovens. Each cavity of the Southbend Platinum Series double-deck oven has 11 rack positions. Each PCHE15 oven uses 7.5 kW heating elements. Each PCHE15 oven is listed for 208 VAC, 60 Hz supply. The PCHE15 oven’s electrical controls are single phase. The Southbend PCHE15S/T model has touchscreen controls. The touchscreen controls have a digital display showing time and temperature; a fan cycle timer pulses the fan, and recipes can be created and used in oven group “Rack” mode to cook multiple items at once on different timers. The oven’s exterior has stainless steel front, sides, and top, with an aluminized-steel back. The oven interior has a coved, fastener-free porcelain-enamel finish. Installation under a vented hood is recommended for the PCHE15. A hood is not required for the PCHE15 ventless option.
