The Southbend KECT kettle assembly is a counter-type kettle. The Southbend KECT twin kettle assembly contains two kettles. The Southbend KECT kettle assembly has a tilting configuration. The Southbend KECT twin kettle assembly is electrically operated. The Southbend KECT kettle's steam jacket covers the lower 2/3 of the kettle. The interior cooking surface of the Southbend KECT kettle is type 316 stainless steel. The controls are water resistant and integrally mounted, and include a power switch, solid state thermostat, pilot light, vacuum/pressure gauge, safety valve, and low water shut off with low water light for each kettle. The Southbend KECT kettle operates from 165°F (74°C) at the low end of its temperature range. The Southbend KECT kettle operates up to 285°F (140°C) at the high end of its temperature range. The Southbend KECT kettle has a maximum pressure rating of 50 psi (345 kPa). The KECT-12-2 electrical configuration is rated at 24 kW. The KECT-12-2 phase-3 electrical configuration is listed for 220 V.
